    Hi all,
I've been reading and folowing different stories here on ADV riders.
This is my first post here however...
2 weeks ago I've made a solotrip with my kawasaki Z750. From Belgium to Austria via the German autobahn. And then secondary roads to Croatia.
I've crossed the Italian Dolomites and my first destination was Baska on the island Krk. To relax from the 1500km drive. In Croatia I've made a tour in search for some forgotten monuments (Spomenik) from the old communist period.
After this search (and find) , I drove back home again via the Italian Dolomites and the Swiss Alps. One week on the road... 4000kms. My but is still aching..
    :D

In Switzerland I've met these guys who were going from Strassbourg to Budapest on the bicycle. Doing about 200kms each day...
    No thanks.

This was my very short story. I don't have a lot of text but it was just to give you all a short impression of a small but rather intensive riding week.
In which I've had a lot of impressions and was glad to find these impressive monuments.
Thanks for watching and your interests.

    cheers !

    Hi,
Yes, the beach is in Croatia. On the island Krk.
Believe me, living in the rainy Belgium it's nice to be on a sunny beach for me aswel.

Hey Peter, Great report 4000 km in a week is pretty good riding. Looks like you wouldn't have a problem to ride to Bahia and Minas Gerais with us, which is only about 5.500 km in 14 days :lol3

I know what you mean when you say "rainy Belgium"... Lived there for 46 years... Have been living in Brazil (not far from Rio de Janeiro) for almost 2 years now, and I don't think I will ever go back...

Best thing is: I made a job out of motorcycle traveling... Best job ever :D
