If you are nice to Hawk, he will let you in his Condo. Going to be in the high 70's, no worries.

I travel with a small tent. Below is my normal camping set up.

But I have a big tent I use to use from track days. A three room giant that packs small enough to take. If it rains that bad it would be nice to have a bigger place to hang out in. A picnic table would fit in it. And you could stand up to change. I wouldn't take it for one night, but for 3 nights of camping with rain possible it might make for a nicer bad weather experience.

There will probably be some penis measuring at some point, but I'm just going to hang out.

if GUY doesn't lead it this year (:huh) i plan on doing whatever gpx track the shrineclown has available. i'll have the montana with me so we can load up some gpx track action and see where it takes us. i'm planning on farther than 9 miles this year come hell or high water.

last year we had a little bit of both. some of us experienced slightly higher water levels than others.

this is just about the terminus of 9 miles. the chasm after this one didn't seem to have an opposite end to it.

at this point it was about a 6' drop to get into the destruction. we couldn't see the opposite side where we would come out at, and that was after walking an 1/8 of a mile into it. the decision to turn around semed to be the logical one!

alternatively if someone who is in the know in regards to the area steps up to the challenge of DS cat herder i just might blindly follow them.

The bike I am bringing this year will get me through that washout that turned us around and the attitude I am bringing will be one that turns bikes back to camp if they start the ride out of tune and out of gas

I like how the Mt. Washington current summit conditions web page thermometer only goes up to 72. :lol3 That's a real scorcher.

    Laconic, hi!

Your comment rang a bell. The temperature at the top of Mount Washington has never been recorded above 72 degrees Fahrenheit. Can you imagine???

    Brrrrrrrrrrr

Hey, MsLiz. I suspected it was for that reason; hard to imagine, ain't it? :D

I hope we get a chance to go up, even though I'm from Maine, I've never been...

Yes, he will be missed. If your mate decides not to be such a wanker, come on up. You will be welcomed Merc. You do know Mom's will rent him a bike right? Either in Manchvegas or Foxboro. And they have a huge selection.

Hey guys, I need to pay a bill by Paypal and I sent all the money in there to our checking account a couple of days before it came in. If you could see a way to punch in that payment, I sure would appreciate it! Will save a transfer fee.
