Glad you are home safe big guy. jen wants to see pics!
Ya ah well um ....
and I quote, "awwww! I thought he liked me..."
Don't shoot the messenger dude.
She's already shopping for dirt oriented riding gear!
Check yer PM's
I hope this fine Sunday morning finds everyone intact and ready for another day of riding. I'm still working on the roof and obviously didn't make it out to Silver Lake. Oh, woe is me. But I'm so close to having my fancy attic space dried in and the missus gets home tonight.
I WANT PICS!!!!!!!
Here's a few.
what great weather!
Titania in Field of Dreams
Good times...sorry no debauchery pics
Home safe and sound, unfortunately in the truck, not a fun ride home. Who knew the wife doesn't like 7 hours on the road to drag a busted up unwashed shitehead back.
Many thanks to all that helped pack things up.
Clark you are incredible, you are everywhere doing stuff.
Bike needs a few bucks of new plastics, I came out of it with a fractured rib and some kind of ankle fracture that I can't pronounce, treatment - keep it elevated and pain meds, gotta go see the ortho Dr. this week.
Sunny afternoon sitting in the back yard, vicodiene and Oktoberfest, how can things be bad?
Seems like the camera took a good piece of the hit, hopefully pull the SD card and get the pics.
Way to keep the glass half full.
You are one lucky sob.
Back on the Boston north shore after a great weekend up in Barnard.
Cromag was my first extended two up trip and the gf and I had a blast exploring the Vermont gaps in glorious weather.
Even the rain last night was kind and gentle.
Thanks Clark - we plan on coming back next year.
theotherwife and I are home as well , had some bike issues of our own on the way home . I pulled out to pass a car and as I got by him it was as if someone shut off my fuel and the bike was surging . we pulled over to check it out . I figured either the air filter got clogged which it wans;t , tried draing the float bowl , no help . It seems to be the main jet that is clogged , I had power with the idle and pilot jets , but past 1/4 throttle it cuts out .
I was able to putt putt along at 30 on the uphills and 50 on the down hills which sadly is not far off pace for a KLR . I was also able to run with the choke on to make it up some of the hills . It is a weird feeling to be waving harleys and cagers by.
But all is well , great weekend , big thanks to our host once again for all the efforts that go into making the event happen .
stay tuned for the pics and videos .
That was fun, thanks folks. Had fun at the Overlander Rally last night, some serious far wandering 4x4 rigs down there. Nice to finally meet 2touringtheworld after about 4years of chatting online. See you all next year annd maybe I'll have a few pics to upload when I get home.
GREAT to see everyone! Not sure who gets the jackass of the event award but falling backwards in to a fire pit comes close I think.

Too long time to get home. GPS sent me down a nice dirt road that turned in to a class 6, that turned in to a class 12, that was gated one mile from the main road. 18 miles wasted. Had to turn around. Fuckin tree huggers.
Good times. Great ride saturday, (2 tube swaps, wasp in helmet, roosted, pissed off the locals...), good ride home today. Found some new to me class6 and other trails. No pictures, phone is borked. Very tired. Thanks again.
Just got back and mowed the lawn. Had a great time meeting new friends, will post pics later! Thanks Clark for all the hard work you put into this
I'm still amazed that you didn't get hurt worse. I'm really happy to hear you just suffered some bruising you your back, and ego. Great seeing you again, as always.
Thanks to those who offered to help. Unfortunately once I got back to Silver Lake I had no signal. Grabbed a quart of Shell Dino to get home. Now I'm gonna do an oil & filter change anyways.
Had a great time. Thanks Clark. The dirt roads were more fun that I could imagine. The 6 gaps was terrific yesterday. Cold ride home. But the tent is drying in the CT sunshine.
+1 on the huge thank you to Clark.
I always look forward to Cromag, and have never been disappointed. Great people, great riding, great fires.
Excellent time at CroMag! Weather couldn't have been much better. Nice little rain last night muffled the snoring and made sleeping much better. Four of us shared the lean-to so it was hard not to have a snore fest!
Thanks for the great time everyone!
Come to the Eastern Rendezvous in May!
Thanks again to Clark and everyone else who helped put this together. Here's some of the pics I took. I didn't do a very good job of remembering to take pictures, so I only got a few.
Stopped at Whitehorse Gear on my way for a few last minute supplies.
Sandwich Notch road is a blast.
Stepped Falls in Ellsworth, NH
Patiently respecting the queue for the lean-tos
Fire on Thursday night.
Washed out road GoodOlGuzzi, MZCountryBoy and I ran into on Friday. We ended up manhandling MZ's GS through in a spot upstream of this. No pics of that, unfortunately. We needed another guy to handle the camera work.
My carnage from a lowside on the App Gap.
