Hard to believe it is only about a month away already.

All information and correspondence will be done here: http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8313800

As always, if you are interested in taking this over and moving it to a new location, just let me know. I have investigated some other sites, but nothing that compares to what is offered by the State of Vermont and the diverse riding opportunities there, have been found. I am glad to do it as long as you want to keep going there. I'm fairly positive there would be enough interest in moving this to July with the old format and keeping this VT fall rally under another moniker. Just going to need the space and initiative to do it. Early FYI, the way the VT law reads, big risk doing it the old way in VT legally. YMMV.

Please know, you are added to the in crowd by visiting and posting in the annual event thread, not here. This is a courtesy announcement for the folks who rarely venture out of the regional forum to find us.

Greetings all, I get lots of questions if there is still room. There is plenty of room, we have not even come close to the capacity of the facility, ever. We could be three times our size and still be comfortable there.

Don't be scared, you will have a good time. There is something for everyone.

This is going to be my second time at CroMag. Clark and his friends do a great job of putting this together every year. It's the most fun you'll have, meet some new people, and get together with some old friends!

    Housekeeping:

Leanto bids end at midnight one week from today. You then have until the thirteenth to email me confirmation of your donation. Please see the rules in the OP if you are interested. Unreserved leanto's will be FCFS. I will notify the high bidders by PM at midnight next Wednesday. If you are sharing, be sure you are not both/all bidding.....

There will be door prizes based on arrival. That is going to remain with me for now, but it will depend when you sign in how they are awarded. No, they will not all be gone the first day. At least I don't anticipate that.

Helinox will be drawn from the hat at the BBQ. Winner will not need to be present to win. So everyone has a chance who attends.

Please do not think you are too late to come. You can still sign on for the event. Numbers help with the meal planning. So, the sooner the better, but there is plenty of room at the facility for you.

I am going to offer this up to anyone who would like to take it over for next year. I am going to give it about 10 days and post it up so folks get their time off and mark their calendars. Would like to keep a rally in VT for the fall, so if you want to take it over, moving it back to July would be preferable. If I don't hear from anyone, we will roll forward with year six in Barnard. I have looked into moving it to other locations, but IMO I have not found anything that offers what VT does for the mix we try to accommodate. I think the location and facilities are about perfect now the store is open again. YMMV.

I think everyone would agree that you do a great job and the location is fantastic. I haven't heard one person complain in the least. Thanks again for putting this together. I know it is a lot of work. I promise I won't Sally out on Sunday next year, and I will be there on Thursday, unless my boss says otherwise.

Thinking about adding a day to the rally and starting on Wednesday. If you like that idea, please indicate so in the annual rally thread. Thanks.

An extra day of Cromag? YES! The state agency gives us free run of a great park; there are no bad roads in Vermont (copyright EC?); September in northern New England is the best time to ride, (few bugs, fewer motorhomes); GuyManBro and MzLiz will have rides to remember. We need some volunteers to free Clark from the ranger's shack so he can ride.

Also, if you are for adding a day, Starting Wednesday night, please let me know. So far, only a few people are for it.
