you want to ride that in the woods? That's looking to nice for a DRZ trail bike! Put a set up sumo tires on her and keep it rubber side up! What's the windscreen from? (triumph , got it!) It almost looks like an F650gs windscreen but not quite.. How do you feel about having all the wiring underneath it being visible through the clear screen?

On a side note.. what's the correct procedure for replacing and adjusting a clutch cable on a DRZ (or probably any bike)? I was having some issues with mine recently where I couldn't get it to a point where it didn't crawl with the clutch pulled in. I eventually did but I feel like I have little or zero adjustment available and that doesn't seem right unless perhaps my clutch disks are that worn out.. A possibility I suppose but I suspect I'm missing something in my installation/adjustment..

I've gotten mixed reviews on the wiring. I'll be painting the lower portion of the screen so you can't see it and adding a martini stripe to the center. I just need to figure out the final windscreen mounts.

I'm having a difficult time knowing that after 2 weeks the bike will look like its been through a war. I also bought an AGV evo 8 helmet with the Valentino Rossi paint job that I don't want to get dirty either.... I'm an idiot.

i was seriously considering a naked conversion with my 990. I'd have to fab a small fuel tank, but you get the idea. Your light setup would be perfect.

haha. I am sure a lot of other dirt riders feel the same way every time they really overhaul and clean up their bike; especially us in the northern latitudes who have months to do so without missing much great riding weather..

It's like 3-5 mm free play between the perch and lever. If you can't get adj there you might need to go into the secondary adjuster. I have a manual I can send you tomorrow if you don't have one. Those clutches are known to be tough but look what we do to them.

Picture you posted looks like 103 A-2, which came out in 1960. I have a very rare A-0 here at the shop, was gonna restore it some day but eventually realized that it's too much of a project for me, so it just sits...

+1 Those are the best graphics I've seen on a DRZ.

Where did you source the screen?

    Thanks all!

The graphics are from AMR racing. They will make custom graphics for you to the tune of $ 350 shipped. Just need to give them some direction. Very good quality stuff. Expensive but everything I could find pre made was rubbish with skulls all over. I love classic Motorsport so this was the way to go.
