When you bringing your new scoot down here?
I can't believe I finally got it - it's a beauty. I've been busy with this and that, and only brought it home a few days ago, so I haven't even ridden it yet. Weather has been dismal up here as well - everybody taking off for the deserts. I would have loved to get this bike earlier, and taken off too - maybe Vegas area would have been good! Now, after waiting 6 weeks for it to appear from out of nowhere, my "easy time" has been swallowed up and my schedule is packed. I'll come down there when the weather goes cold again, maybe next Fall or next Spring, and maybe you can show me around - love to do a ride with you and Kevinsinlasvegas.
Pm Sent! :slurp
Holding one for you N8!
New guy here. :eek1
Sent you a PM and looking forward to being a contributing member of the board.
Glad you joined. It's a great forum and a solid community. Looking forward to your contributions when and as you can. (Spooky has limited free time - he helps keep America safe and free.)
From now on, I will ship all orders from ADVRider forums for free, to inmates via USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate.
Have a good Memorial Day Weekend, use your heads, make them swivel. Use your mirrors. Ride well and have fun!
This community rocks! From just a few pms from Stovey I know that I've found a great place to make friends, learn, enjoy, and ride.
I can't wait to sport his cradle when I get back from the Sandbox. Only one more month to go.
I'm really looking forward to hopefully riding with you guys if I get the chance. I'll be pimping the cradle as soon as I can.
Thanks again, Stovey! Total stand up guy.
Would Dwight please contact me either via this forum or my e-mail. I have your cradle, your check and your tracking number - but need some info because my computer crashed and have been off line for two days and looking for my e-mails.
Your cradle goes out today - thanks!
I wanted to Thank you for making a great cradle. I got to use it over Memorial day weekend for a long road trip to the beach. It really worked well. Very solid and 1 million times better than the standard mount. Here are some pics of it attached to my Dakar.
Ignore the Acquiring Satellites bit. Wasn't the fault of the cradle my route was too long with too many points. Once I turned off the route it held position no problem.
You're welcome, of course - and glad to hear how well it's working for you. It was my pleasure. I've been on the road for the past 8 days and had only sporadic internet presence, so your post is much appreciated as I work my way home. Thanks for your order and please stay in touch. Nice looking bike and cockpit setup for you!
I put your cradle through its paces today. Really hammered it hard and long. No mercy. It came through it all with flying colors! Beats the shit out of the Ram cradle. I would recommend this product to anyone who doesn't want to hassle with Garmin about replacing a broken GPS unit. Thanks for all the help.
So glad to hear it! I got out and hammered mine over the weekend as well, and it also performed for me..... good thing too! Today is back to work after almost two weeks - an unheard of situation around here, but family visits come very seldom for me anymore, and it was good to get back East and take care of that.
Looking forward to meeting some of you at West Fest and the Montana 1000 in a couple of weeks.......
Yours went out in today's mail.
And a good INDEPENDENCE DAY to you all!
I just got one of the concealex versions a few days ago and have been on a short ride with it today. Great product that is way better than the Ram version it replaced. Delivery was outstanding. Ordered it on Friday and had it by Tuesday over the July 4th weekend; my check hasn't even cleared yet.
Just a short note to say the Concealex cradle work great. Rode thru Colorado and some of Utah on my WR250R. Rode off rode as much as possible. Total of seven days with no problems. The cradle did a great job holding the 60CSX in place thru all the rough riding. Again thanks for a great product.
Thanks for the kind words guys - much appreciated....
I'm glad they are working well for you - I'm still liking mine. It really is a decent setup for me, and I'm just glad I am able to make them for others. Losing a GPS sucks, and these hold onto them, and they handle pretty well in the cockpit. I just got back from a weekend getaway with my wife - she has to do without me for a time while I'm off galavanting on the Montana 1000 and West Fest (what happens to a guy at a "de-noobing"....) :-O
Anyway, you guys have all been really great to work for as customers, and I really appreciate every order, and all commentary.
This thread is at present 6 pages, and there has been some good information exchanged here - my thanks to all who have posted. If there's enough info here to answer your questions about things, and you want to order a cradle for yourself - please go ahead. I won't be online at all for the next ten days, and so I will not answer personal messages and e-mails until then, after West Fest. But I should have cradles ready to ship then, if anybody sends a check, and a note with their screen name and a mailing address, I'll mail cradles out when I return.
I should have a few on hand at West Fest to sell also, if anybody is there and wants one.
Thanks for all in the meanwhile, and I hope a great Summer riding season is happening for everybody. In a few hours, I'll be passing through a radioactive cloud of brushfire smoke at the INEEL site in SE Idaho on my way to Darby, MT. I can feel the joy already!
My thanks to the folks who got cradles from me on the MT1000/West Fest gatherings. Especially to Masterchief, Huzar and Timmer. Let me know how it goes for you and stay in touch.
May we ride together again.....
are you going to make one for the new 62 or 78 series? a market share that need attention
