Well guys and girls the 25th D2D is in the books. And a good time was had by all! How Good?

We had riders from 23 of the United States
We had riders from 6 of the Canadian Provinces
We had riders from 6 foreign countries (in addition to USA and Canada) One from China
We had almost 300 riders at the Friday Banquet

We raised $3,210.00 US and $1,215.00 Can. for the Dawson Shelter Society
We raised $8,340.00 for the Dawson City Fire Fighters by attending the banquet
We drank enough beer and wine at the banquet to raise about $2,000.00 for the Humane Society
We purchased food and beer at the biker games and the Day Care center earned $1,000.00
We bought out the Little girls Lemonade stand at the last card draw on the Poker Run

Why do I keep saying WE. Because it best describes why D2D is not a Rally(e). We have a gathering
We have a good ride, a good time, all with a good purpose.

Best of all, when asked to help clean up the banquet area WE all jumped in and Recycled glass
bottles, bagged trash, carried and stacked tables and chairs. WE left the Biker Games area clear of
trash. Your not gonna find the bikers in Sturgis doing any of that.

Thank You......everyone. I'm proud to be a D2D biker and ride with everyone of you anytime.

    In othe D2D News:

    Biker Game results........

The winner of the Slow race was Chad Yoshitomi
The winner of the Blindfold event was Justin Kleiter
The winner of the Ball Drop was Ian Goodwin
The winner of the Serpentine was Mike Saunders

    Overall Winners......

3RD Place Jon Eisenmayer from Fairbanks, Alaska

2ND Place Mike Saundeds from Virginia (on a Ruckus no less)

1ST Place Chad Yoshitomi from Anchorage, Alaska

    In the two up events......

Chad and His female partner won the Balloon toss

Isaac Nieson and partner won the Hkot Dog Bite event

It is always a mistake to try to name everyone that made this event possible again this year. But you all know who you are and your dedication to the success of D2D is sincerly appreciated.
As always we need to thank the local Dawsonite who does the heavy lifting on site.....
    Thank you Dawson Dick!

I hope many of you made the trip up the road to Eagle to view the "NEW" tree and Memorial.
It is a wonderful place to remember our biker brothers and sisters who have passed on.
Special to the Crew that made it happen: Fighter, Allyn & Rox Wilson and Jim Hemmesch.

I think I have one more Over the Top left in me. See ya next year my friends.

    Thank you Dennis!
It certainly gives me a warm fuzzy heart to see the wonderful amounts "WE" donate to charities in need!

There should be some kind of special recognition for the partners that got close enough for a slurp but didn't actually bite. That said, I've got the opposite in training now and next year she'll be ready! Just need to perfect the backpack dealio.

Come on by if you're a disbeliever.

Fargin lovely gathering this June, and I want to post a thank you to one of the sponsors (door prize), namely Bill Lindsey of StarBrite and StarTron Products. The kit arrived today at my hideout in SE BC. Good timing, being that I got home a day before and .... off the bike for first time in a long time. The 1/4 inches of bugs on the front end should be easy to remove with the special sauces from Bills product line.
