By all means, DO IT! Tomorrow is never guaranteed for any of us!
Second that! The older you get the more time speeds up.
First off-road ride with my dad, on my first dual sport!
Sadly I don't have any pictures of my dad and I and our beemers together, but here's one from last year of him on his k75 at fort Ticonderoga. And for a belated Father's Day post, one of my son and I. I'm eagerly waiting the day I can start bringing him to help me work on my projects and then teach him to ride. With him being 10 weeks old, it's gonna be a while.
Sadly I have no pics of my dad on bikes but I have a fond memory of him when I bought my first bike (a TS250 ER)
He trained cadets to ride motorcycles in the British Army just after the 2nd world war, a fact I didn't know until we unloaded the bike from the trailer we used from the bike shiop.
At this point, he mounted, kicked the starter like a pro, rode rigid standing army parade style up the hill, dismounted and saluted.
Quite a sight.;:)
Wow, the things our folks (might) take with 'em.
Out on a multi day ride through Washington, Idaho and Montana.
A crappy pic of my father's day present (another pic) that I love:
And ten years earlier:
1981 or so , my boy just finish doing his first motor disassembly on his 465 Yamaha . He must have been 16 at the time. Good Times !!!!!
My son and I . I even got my wife on an ATV in Alaska.

Yours truly and offspring William
Got my son his first bike, a brand new BMW R1200GS. He loves, so much that he kisses it before and after each ride. I should mention my son is 2 and the bike is a 6V
