^^^ Between this place, facebook, twitter, planet gordon and the CIA database... there's not much out there that is a secret anymore... :huh

The mustache man will need all of his cunning if he is to pull of something clandestine this year... :evil

Could that be only a coincidence? Or is that fuel pump the very problem with the HRC bikes? This should be interesting...

Any reports of HRC bikes running out of fuel?? Or maybe they placed the secret stash behind the right dune...

Report from Pal Anders Ullevalseter 7 hours ago:

"Almost went seriously wrong today. First, approx. midway through the stage, it was dug a square hole, 2 feet deep in the middle of a dirt road where I came in 150km / h Luckily I laid bike down in speed, and swerved a bit before I almost fell down. The bike ended with the front wheel down the hole, while the rear wheel and I clung hard to the edge and I dragged "us" up. Lost some time on this, but later, ca. 300 meters before the finish, I lost an additional 30-40 seconds when the engine suddenly stopped because some bad fuel I had received earlier in the stage. To get it started again, I had to switch to the reserve tank, and therefore this took some time as well.

Otherwise, I enjoy good starting around 10th place (starting at location from the stage the day before). Then you have a number of tracks to deal with and it is not as "flat view" in the sand.

No outstandingly good feeling on stage today, but the strategy to be patient in the beginning works and I am very pleased to be 3rd in the summary.

Thanks to you folks who are following my race!"

Ahhh...I see, and this tactic has worked in the past?

Was he the guy leading someone to fuel today?

Probably but the infamous mustache man provided a rear wheel to Coma, Despres called him on it. Marc was found guilty...Despres won the race. Next year was Mudgate :lol3
