Ehere is a topless coffee stand about 20k in they all stopped for coffee and a smoke
where you getting this sensei? :huh
Ah what short memories people have. Last year the backyard (GHR) Honda's had huge problems with their last minute, untested fuel tanks splitting, didn't they? Now the big money factory frontyard (HRC) effort is being castigated for not checking with the backyard dudes about how to build their fuel tanks?
Also, one minute (well a few short weeks ago) they were testing, testing, testing in California (in typical Honda Japan approach) and got castigated for testing so close to the event and not leaving enough recovery time for possible injuries, something that bit them big time.
Damned by the F5irehose if you do, damned by the F5irehose if you don't.
Glad I'm just a simple rider, not a team manager.

From JCR FB page
The race continued without me as I would have to wait for a my extremely fast, bright orange, Support vehicle, piloted by none other than the fastest 4-wheel driver in the desert, Robby Gordon and his Navigator Kellon Walsh. They kindly dropped off a care package that would get me back going. After 20 or so more minutes of repair I was back underway.
But instead of racing with 2- wheel vehicles I found my self smack dab in the middle of the Garbage truck race!!
Here is an updated but more precise map for you, Sorry its not interactive. Not I did NOT have time to finalize the precise route after CP1 but it is in the region indicated. It about 90% correct up to CP1. all the Wps make sense to me now.dune sections marked in Yellow.
Wp2 -WP3 After a huge descent the riders follw a river bed onto a sandy track tanking them into another dune field which they have to climb, if they go too far right here they will will find themselves cut off between a slop too steep to climb and a big drop of down another huge (500M+) dune slope, If they make it they get to Wp3
Wp3-Cp1 follows a mountain track, very rough at first.but taking them down almost tosea level again.
The final dunes section is going to be the most technical thoughwithsteep up and downhills to negotiate.
Hope it helps!!
