Any reports on ShoeString Lucchese?? WP1 is the last I see of him....
May be they put all the R&D into the racing pumps and at the end they run out of resources for the SE pump ?
The problem with injection pumps is that if they fail to achieve the pressure required, the bike does not run. Even in the normal electric pumps (Africa etc) the bike would run but not at full speed. At least you would get to the destination...
I bet they will solve the problem during the night so it does not happen again or if it happens at least you give the rider the chance to fix it ... :huh
He finished 21 today:

Baie dankie Meneer!
(Many Thanks Sir!)
what did I miss?
From the little I sneaked in on my phone in endless meetings:
- Bummer about barreda
- Yamaha boys... who would've thought?
- Sneaky Cyril just shadowing, hoping to win this won through attrition? Or missing his play pen pal this year for motivation?
As you were, this thread is growing to epic proportions. Bring on Fr4!
PS - thanks for leaving the cliff notes out of date for 8 hours... bastards
100% agree. But he's sponsored by Suzuki in portuguese championships...
It's another challenge inside dakar challenge, definitely it was easier to get a tested husky from Bianchi Prata team.

Made it in!!
Really hoping this kid makes after losing all that time the other day with a busted wheel...or whatever it was
No live interviews at stage end today. We are leapfrogging the crew to tomorrow. See you for Dakar stage 5 highlights this evening as usual
he probably wants to tune in to France 4
Svitko & Caselli, they seem to have been running together, perhaps a mechanical on one of them??
++ Great Coverage there!!
My lunch break is 10 minutes today no time to dig deep. Any updates on Manuel?
Are subtitles or closed-captioning or something available? I feel like I'm really missing out with all the interviews on Fr4, even though the footage is amazing. The 6 months of French that I did just doesn't cut it for trying to follow these guys.
So, in this short and "easy" stage, after all the dunes and rough tracks of yesterday, we have lost four top20 riders (or Aso lost them in the trackers...)
WOW, if that's a current picture, she's not riding hard enough..looks like she just came back from photo shoot
France 4 via VLC is broadcasting a steady stream of George Clooney's young mug at me right now... I guess ER is better than JAG?

Anyone know where we can get the overall now ???
