Will the french 4 highlights be on at 4:40 am EST or have i got this completely wrong
Sorry... you meant the R2R guys...
pulling for that team... they've had some hard yards to row...
Had guys like that in the unit. Good troops, did everything right, but shit just happened to them. Just no luck. Harder than hell to see their families and tell them that their husband/father/son did nothing wrong, was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Where the lucky part kicked in was that they survived it. As these guys did. They live to fight another day.
F##*k. Hope they come through ok.
G;morning everyone..I missed some good posts about Dakar past last nite...
Ready for the f5ing to begin, I have 2 cups of coffe with me, I walked the dog in the rain already...so I can plunk my ass in this seat for the next few hours
Not life threatening injuries to them and they are conscious. but OK is a broad definition.
Sounds as though they should be okay hopefully. Desperate news though (especially for those in the taxi).:eek1
Hope all ends well.....
Sad way to start out the morning hearing about fatal accident. Thoughts and prayers to friends and families of those involved.
Enjoyed the discussion last night which provided some great perspective how the firehose got started.
Time for coffee, multiple screens for timing and work today. Doing my best to stay caught up.
None life threatening can still be life changing. Heal well. How are the med facilities in that part of the world? Up to scratch?
Total km in today's SS6 equates to something like Paris to Montpellier. But on slightly rougher terrain than the A75.
HRC press officer discovers understatement

Hope they all recover well, thoughts go out to those who have lost loved ones, bit of a downer to start the day on.
They ain't no 90 km/h (average) roads Brodo...
