Only those who have finished today's stage are classified on the overall right now. He's got a pretty good lead over his nearest competitor, I'm not sure Luis can be caught even if they spend the night on the stage. :lol3 :webers

Matt Fish does not appear on the withdrawal list yet, so technically it's not over until he misses the start cutoff tomorrow morning.

He sure does. It's going to be an epic story if he can pull it off.

You want to grab the start to WP6 and then the WP7 to end times and you will have 03:36:21 for Chaleco. But his physical time to get from the start to the end which is measured by the time of day will include the time from wp6 to wp7.

Love the Candid's/emotive shots, those are usually some of my favorites from the race.

Loving the few bits of video we've seen that shows the riders out there after the sun sets. Very inspiring. Wish we had more of it as that's when many of the true Dakar stories unfold.

    Cya tomorrow bright and early

I was looking through Dakar 2013 Withdrawals and noticed on the Cars list there were a number of "explusions" and none in any of the other classes, Moto, Quad or Truck.

Any idea what any of the Cars that were expelled from the race did to get booted?

Long day today at work. I was not worried about keeping up with the firehose as I knew Preseason Thunder was taking place in Daytona. Anyone have the torrent files, IPad links for me? I want to see all the new driver uniforms.:evil

The hose was flowing today.:clap. I managed to get caught up finally. Looks like the leaders hung pretty close for the most part today. Pyndon sounded tired on his call. I was pleased to hear he got back in tune with his bike during the second special.

I love the pic if Manuel with his ADV care package.

The sad news this morning from the accident was on my mind today at work. I really feel for the families and friends of those lost in the accident.

Please, yes I would like F5 coffee mug when available.

Ooooo....... the FESH FESH eruption picture kicks major ass!

I think there is a copyright issue with the logo. I think that may be the stuffing point for Cafepress to do this type of work. We know how fast they take down Youtubes :D Hmm...

Yeah your articles are always good reads! :clap :thumb

I was forced to watch a movie with the missus - that put a quick end to things for a couple of hours. Fortunately I read fast. Then there is the plotting of tomrrows route. They have be crafty but I have found the route. All will be revealed soon.

And you thought the Dakar was easy. :D Just following it is hard :lol3

But you love it - I am sure :nod
