I have feeling WP 7 is going to be treated as a CP and the results will only show when they get to WP 8.
Or the tracking has gone to the dogs again
not to replay but I was reading a few pages back that Cyril changed out the bottom end.. now why would he change out a barrel and head with the chance of a leak, etc.. It looked like a straight complete motor swap to me.
Would expect so, wp7 should be no different than wp6?
The girl is out. The bike caught fire
If cdp joins HRC my support for HRC is gone. I like that a band of brothers has formed around the 450x rallye.
He has few attractive qualities. He's no team rider.
I'm going with the dog pack option.
CP3's at km499 and it would really throw a wrench into the gears to have CP2.1 show up.
Crap! Burnt it up playing towtruck.
Barreda at wp9
SCRATCH that, WP 7 open
It's been quite the looong lunch break today.....
Catch fire pulling a dead horse ?
Chilean Josefina Gardulski's rescue of fellow countryman Axel Heilenkotter didn't earn her any good karma, it seems. She was hit by a mechanical problem which degenerated into a fire. She was 133rd in the overall this morning.
And 8 and nine.
It went to the dogs
All the french ASO time tracking employees went en greve for the remainder of the day to remind us how important their jobs are.
How about WP9 open!!
...that must have been some good grub. :dg
That is sad. I had the chance to support the team she is in during five stages on this Dakar. Strong girl, two ISDE. It seems something went wrong during the rest day.....
Bottom end is what carries the swap penalty. He did a straight swap at the marathon bivouac, and if rules have been followed, he was allowed to do whatever he wanted to the top end at rest day (but not touch the bottom end without taking a 2nd penalty).
I speculate (with no information, heh, who did that ever stop) that he put on a good head/ piston/ cam/ etc at rest day, and is back to having the HP he is accustomed to, on the same bottom end he swapped in at Marathon.
Antonio! thought you were down there..
