Exactly. As a team mate Caselli would never pass Despres unless he had been waved by. Cyril is happy to follow his team mate's wheel and protect his overall, not too unlike TDF teamwork.....

ANd the winner is Lance - the Pill - Armstrong. "Guys with these pills you would be great water-carriers, let me win the dakar and I will reward you but I wont pay out.

The way Cyril and Ruben are controlling their lead is pure master class. You'd think they have a tracker built into their ICOs, showing them Chaleco's WP times.

Pyn at WP2, +42'15", while others around Laia stormed to the front. Something's not right back there.

Just the same as Coma and Depres, but this time there is only one potential winner :rofl

Will this be fine for Carlos? ;-) Ok his overview is better, but I can generate this. I'll post one after stage 11 too if you like.

I've got the biv at the finish line, anyone confirm?

I'm sure a bunch of them would appreciate not having to slog it after the dunes.

Cyril also knows haw far back in the pack Kurt started though so it he's caught up he knows that Kurt is in contention for a stage win and that is good for the team, no?

Many posts regarding this, he got penalties because he screwed up navigating and missed a bunch of wp's, no conspiracy theory, etc

Plain and simple, he had a chance to lead and blew it big time. Too bad for sure but somewhat predictable given his lack of experience. With doubt he could be a contender in a few years if he keeps at it and gains some experience. Speed is only half od the equation :nod

    Wow.
Carlos' version is more intuitive, but if you can just generate this from data, it's great! :clap
