    Bullshite.

If it was a 'wire' that can stop the engine you'd think all HRC staff would have edcuated the riders on where the wire was that could 'stop' the engine.

How long does it take to find the spark plug lead?

    Such bullshit from HRC

In the 500cc bike GP class the HRC factory bikes that did not finish a race often had unspecified 'electrical faults' - you know, the sort of 'electrical fault' that leaves a con rod poking out through a crankcase...........an 'electrical fault' can cover a wide variety of sins !

It's also convenient that someone else makes electrical bits and HRC builds fault proof motors.

OK, that wire story is strange, to say the least. Good to see I'm not the only one who smells bullshit. Especially as the info with the fuel problem came from someone close to the team.

Does anyone know why they riders all black out the hundreths place on the roadbook and have their ICOs configured to only display tenths? Hard to understand why they would deliberately obfuscate information available to them...

neither jc or pizzolito stopped to give helder some fuel as pizzolito did the last time. So there's maybe some true in it. As
    Katsumi Yamazaki put it
"It’s a pity but Dakar may be like this.”

    Fiambala, the January 16th, 2013

Although the 11th special was again affected by the weather, American Kurt Caselli obtained a 2nd stage victory on the Dakar, whilst general standings leader Cyril Despres further increased his lead. In the car race, the special was stopped after only 53 km, following flash flooding that prevented the competitors from crossing a river on the route of the stage. This was a Godsend for Robby Gordon who picks up his 1st win on the Dakar 2013 as a result, whilst in the truck race De Rooy should be granted the victory. The situation has not led to any changes in the general standings, with Peterhansel and Nikolaev still leading their respective categories.

but where did he find the fuel, then?
