Bianchi Prata, 4th on the track on stage 9 (he was one of those who didn't get lost on the previously day...) - 18th on that stage. Only Cyril and Hélder passed him on piste.

    Enjoy the ride :D

    *walks into room*

Hey guys, I brought some soda and . . .

    *looks around*

    *crickets chirping*

    Hello . . . anyone?

    *tumbleweed blows by*

    *confused because indoors*

    *notices t.v. is on*

*sits on couch, eats from mostly empty bowl of popcorn*

Where is everyone? They're missing this cool British pool tournament.

*because British accents make things cooler than otherwise*

Wait, it looks like billiards . . . and yet it isn't quite. Oh, apparently it's sno . . .

*notices sticky note on side of t.v. monitor*

    *approaches*

    *Reads aloud*

"Dread, we're in the bivouac thread.
    Don't forget to bring beer
(you better not bring soda again!)
Laia left you a message saying no,
    she will not marry you,
    and to please stop asking.
    (But don't stop, Dread, you'll
    persuade her someday!)

    And don't eat the popcorn!"

    *stops chewing*

We've made it to the end. Well done F5!

I have to wait until the Desert 100 - April !!!! Although I'm going to Rally Mexico 2013 (WRC) in March 2013. Alas, not bikes.

It is weird how bereft I feel when this is over each year. Last year I was driving solo through Namibia - in those rare occasions when I could get to the internets I came here first. :freaky

Thanks! This is worth a re-post!

I'm stoked to be a part of the F5 team! Great work everyone!

    Who's got-more-info-on-the-Dakar-than-us? NOBODY!

Trannygate on the marathon stage.. Chaleco wanting to push for the win without a 4th gear... (KTM better get that one figured out next year).. Broken water pump for Nassar.. Spare water pump anyone? Roll over Robby.. Great job on top 14!

Best RallyRadio calls from 2013... Lyndon Poskett taking us with him through it all! Congratulations on 46th place! Thank you Pyndon and Pack Mule!

I'll stop the ramblings for now..

See you next year! Hopefully in South America...

It's not quite the end of the world guys, or another full year to wait - a series of mini fixes coming up with the FIM Cross Country Rallies World Championsip plus Oillibya Morocco and the Oz Safari, so 8 headline events, many to include CDP and Coma although they rarely compete head to head.

Included this year is Argentina and Bazil also, so see you all early in April for the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge 2014:clap

I very much agree with you but in one breath I added if this was the case, Husaberg would be celebrating 12 consecutive victory and KTM would be staying back being affraid of negative press comments on its failure on the toughest race in the world. I guess it comes back to your comment on Yamaha. For KTM MX, enduro and rally is the priority compared to the street bike market.

Well, then it make perfect sense. If any other brands than KTM reaches during the upcoming years the podium, it would be rather a conicident :lol3

So shall we start collecting bets on the 2014 results?:evil

FOr those of us who want to go back and see the progression of things in just the last few years. I decided the other day, when I knew I couldn't keep up because I had no internet, that I was going to go back on ADV as far as I could to get some centralized knowledge. This list of course doesn't include any of the "How can I get my tire pressure release to empty into my intake" threads... or... "What brand mustache do you all like" threads.

Ehm, what BMW enduro bike should be the kit based on please? G450X is finished and as far, as I know, there is no other bike on the way. Not to mention, that investment in speedbrain kit development for Husqvarna is quite OK...

Wow, the 2006 thread was a total of 29 pages, compared with 1212 this year. Progress!

I like the Jonah post on the first page.

Jonas Street is 3 minutes down in 13th place. He is the top American and the short notice new rider on the Pan American privateer effort. He was profiled on another thread. Congrats to the Pan Am all the guys for a fine start! :clap :lurk - P
