Shhh.. don't tell anyone but this is how we will do the tracking next year
That Iphone tracker works fantastically well. Even when you are out of signal, it keeps track and then uploads/updates the track as soon as it back in signal range.
We used it on the Amageza rally in South Africa last year and it was amazing: you could literally see the guy slowing down for the corners etc. Of course it works well in good cellphone reception, on the Dakar there is not a lot of that.
and very soon, we can all say Pain in the ASS !!!
Seriously, ASO really are heading for a f***ing kicking. Parisian Pricks!
It's like calling an Israeli a Palestinian, or vice / versa.
The one consolation is they haven't called an Aussie a bloody Kiwi - death and destruction, would follow.
The ASO has removed all listings of WPs and CPs in their Live Timing Page.
The next car and camion info will be from the ASS. :eek1

Second and third at CP2, Marc Coma and Cyril Despres are nearly riding neck and neck: only 104 separates them with a little more than 60 kilometres left to go. Both men are however, more than 4 minutes behind Joan Barreda and are under threat from Paulo Gonçalves.
