That's the heart of rally, right there!

    Sending best wishes to Ruben.

Feel terrible for our mates who are out. Pedro, Kevin, DR- these are people who put a lot on the line to follow a dream, and IMO, we have to think of them as conquering heroes, even if we all wish it had held together for a few more days. The Dakar is a year long odyssey, they made it so close (and yet still, so far) to their goal.

Mike J appears to be steady along in the mid 80's, fingers crossed for him to be thru CP2 soon...

Looking at CDP and Coma overall standings (52 s apart), looks like they´re waiting for Barreda to make a mistake!

I know it's early in the event, but I gotta nominate Myway as contributor of the year.

No clue how he does it, but the guy just keeps on coming with more and better stuff. He just added a .m3u8 links for ES Russia, for example.

    Myway for MVP. :bow

I don't think they are paying attention to somebody else. They are just competeting with eachother if you know what I mean :evil

The hose is full blast today. Not easy catching up. Kevin M., Faria, Aliens stalking it is all happening in the marathon stage.

Dread you can not describe Dakar any better than your quote.:clap

Ouch, though this could have been a lot worse. Shame to see the flames and the ADV sticker in the same shot.

According to many not alien status, but "The BULL" is off to one hell of a start this year.
