that's how I feel right now.......
What a Dakar for drama, it's unbelievable. Within the first 3 stages CD and Coma lose 13 mins on Barreda, Patronelli is out of the quads, Mardeev is out of the trucks, PAL gets his bike knicked, Robby loses 3 hours and and and...
God knows how the field will look like when we get to the final day. It's a freaking massacre.
What beautiful scenery !
on fox from yesterday
What's one the pulling end of that tow strap.......400 Argentinians ??
For some reason, Eurosport runs far better on the iPad than on VLC.
good to see you still pay attention here
good shots too
and glad to see you have a good rally raid roster
Just in from CB2:
"With David (Reeve) now. Knee sore. He's gutted, but is fine. He hit a rock in a canyon that spat him off the bike."
Thanks heavens he is OK, even if the dream is over for this year.
Overwhelming feeling I have while watching images on EuroSport is of how little of this event we experience by following the WPs, CPs, and looking at computer screens ...
They traverse such massive amount of landscape and have so many incredible situations from dusk 'till down. Every day.
It's mind bogging.
Any news on Grabbo? looked like he was creeping up on the leaders ascending to the waypoint on top but dropped many places on the way down to the finish.
Edit: The Aussie forum update suggests Ben and Sam (and possibly a gaggle of other riders) made a nav error on the way down and were sidetracked into a canyon of no escape. Cost them over a couple of hours. :-(
Looks like Mike Johnson made it into CP-2.
Maybe Eurosport is F5'in it too and messing with the broadcasts for chuckles. Don't tease them too much or it will be snooker 24/7 :eek1
Guess what : the ski dude is back on eurosport :blargh
I kind of miss those snookah blokes.
Glad to hear that I was wondering about him
Which link are you using?
''Crew and David Reeve are in San Juan resting in RV together. David tore his knee after crashing and hitting a rock....in a brace, comfortable and relaxing....but I'm sure heart broken.
Still waiting for confirmation regarding Team Redverz - Kevin Muggleton to Dakar . Crew was not allowed to assist due to it being the marathon stage. Crew, nor Kevin has responded if he was able to get rolling and start race or not.
Good to see you back in the asylum Ludo
I guess it's safe to assume Kevin Muggelton is out. I feel horrible for him.
Freedom Team loses 3 racers in the last 2 days, bummer.
It will be interesting to see how many bikes start tomorrow. Bound to be a large group out there in the dark tonight struggling to finish.
