Oasis of my soul
"Marc Coma is in serious doubt for the Dakar. Marc Coma may be limbo for the next edition of the Dakar, which starts on January 5 in Lima (Peru). The Spaniard suffered a fall at the Rally of Morocco in which he injured his left shoulder and has since worked at top speed toward his recovery. Although it seemed that his recovery was favorable in recent days the triple champion of the great desert race has found that his fitness is not ideal to meet the demand of so much competition. He still lacks the strength to control his KTM.
Coma, also following the recommendations of its advisers, has decided to suspend all events in which he had planned to participate this week to focus on his recovery, undergoing an intense, specific work program.
Coma will appear at a press conference on Friday in Barcelona, at which it will be known if he is finally ready for the Dakar, but today the options to make this happen are really minimal."
"Kurt Caselli will make his Dakar Rally debut as a replacement rider for rally legend Marc Coma, who is still suffering from the effects of the shoulder he injured in the Morocco Rally in October, KTM announced this morning."
Very Soon Now!!

any plans on doing the past couple years of Dakar coverage?
'11 and '12 were lost to the ages as far as a overview recap is concerned.
The A.S.O sold the recap rights for both years to a French production company
who were thinking of doing their own distribution on DVD's.
However, They didn't follow through as of up to today with the project
hence no podium/Recap showings.
Truly a shame, '11 and '12 were a couple of the best Dakar years to date.
Listening to EuroSports comment tonight,It sounds like they have the
rights to tomorrow's parade and review recap again
