Lots of tweaking to do, but I put together a website this week about us and the team members:
Who wants a free Dakar tshirt?
Giving away one on our facebook page.
Thought only fair if we give away one to my F5 group too.
"Scott Spears took some time off this morning to meet Dayton, the newest Freedom crew member & his 7th grandchild!! To celebrate, we are giving away another Dakar Freedom Rally T-shirt! Reply below with your desired shirt size (sorry I believe we only have xl-3xl left)."
Just respond to this thread with requested shirt size and your name will be entered into our drawing.
If you live in the US, will be shipped to you free as well :)
If you want a 2nd chance, feel free to enter the facebook drawing too:
I will take a 3x T shirt !!!!!!
Good luck to you guys!!!
I wish I was tagging along !!! maybe in 2015 !!!!
Please enter me in the T-Shirt Drawing (XL).
Good luck with all the preparations....
Still time to enter for the free Dakar shirt. Reply with size! XL - 3 XL will do best to accommodate size.
Today's rally tip from Scott Spears:
Heat tape and header wrap!!! Don't leave home without it!
Protects water tank from melting!
Keeps debris from catching fire from hot head pipe!
Reduces melting and heat to riders boot!
Always says my pictures are too large to upload here. So ...Pictures....
Enter me in the drawing please. XL
Sorry for the delay, had a family emergency.
Put everyone's name in a hat....Dread Pendragon won our free Dakar Tshirt. PM me your address!!
The shirt came yesterday! It's my new favorite.
Check you out!! Enjoy!!
2014 Dakar competitors have officially been announced and race numbers assigned!!! Time to get the new graphics made for Freedoms 4th year participating in the Dakar Rally!

Lack of recognition disappoints Reeve
Reeve left for Argentina on Thursday where the rally begins early next month, with no official from the Zambia Motor Sport Association or the National Sports Council of Zambia seeing him off.
In an interview, shortly before departure at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport, Reeve said it was disappointing that there was little interest in the rally from Zambians.
"I am very disappointed, there is very little interest apart from the newspapers and a few private companies," he said.
"What the country needs to realise is that this Dakar Rally is the world's biggest motor event on the planet. The fact that Zambia is there is an achievement; it's sad that Zambia doesn't recognise that."
