I love to photograph dashboards when I go to car shows. They display a level of quality we rarely see anymore and I like to fantasize about what it would be like to drive some of these cars and watch the gauges operating. How many of them can you identify?

    A '57 Chevy
    A Packard ?
The 60's Mopar is similar to one owned by Ward Cleaver.

It's a Chrysler Imperial, but I don't know what year, other than late '50s.

Good documentation. Do you get close ups too, like the font on numbers and words on dials and such.

I like to see tiffs and stuff on numbers.

That one kinda reminds me of my 9000 but it was in the shop so much I never really got to know it. I know they advertise the SAAB dash as being inspired by their fighter jets.

I try not to touch the car and I stand far enough away to get the shot but not make the owner nervous so it's hard to get the detail I want sometimes.

the first few years the model T was made, you could get it in different colors, it was only when he started the assembly line that they were all black, because the black paint dried at least twice as fast as any other color so it made production faster

One of the most beautiful dashboards ever, right up there with the 56 Ford and the 66 GTO.
