Adventure is as much heart and mind as anything else.
Not many people 'get it', Dave. There goes your proof.
Dave, Sounds like You and Julie did a hellava job raising Your kids. It shows.. Ya'll should be very proud..
I'm sitting here wondering how I missed this when if first got posted, yet happy I did because I got multiple iDave posts to read in one sitting.......
No way to help being proud of your son, Dave. He's all that, and wears a uniform too! You've done a good job there!
In. Way to get us northerners through the winter Dave!
Glad I wandered back to ADV (which I rarely do during snowmobile season lol).
You said more than once that this was different than any other trip you've ever taken and from the first post, I noticed that your writing was different than any of your previous reports.
Not a bad thing. In fact, quite the opposite.
The best way I can describe it is that it is more "free" and almost like you aren't editing yourself to write what you think others want to read, rather, that you are writing what you want to say.
Maybe a subtle difference to some, I don't know.
Thanks for sharing, Dave!
Dave, I'm extremely blessed that aside from travel adventures you've continued to share your family with us all. I was in for the delightful Abby ride and have come to "know" everyone since I think. She hooked me then because she was literally my step daughter at that age. I recognized the antics to a T.
Thank you sir for your warmth, emotion and humanity.
Dave A bit belated ..... But found your thread today and as always have enjoyed your writing and perspectives on your ride. Speak from the heart for sure!! it's the adventure.
Thanks for taking the time and efforts to share your experiences with us.
Wow. You have introduced me to what a ride report can be. It's certainly not often that I tear up while reading through a forum. You've got me hooked, and I'm very anxious to hear the remainder of your report. I'm now quite glad I joined here, and I hope I can contribute something 1% as inspiring as yours.
Just keeps on getting Better Dave!
Just discovered this thread today. Glad to be reading another iDave RR. Thanks for sharing from such a personal perspective. -Glen
Life is good when you wake up to a rainy Saturday, But gets even better when you can take a trip with iDave
Keep up the great work and thank you for all your adventures
ahDave. I haven't wandered into Day Trippin' in a long while, and when I did - your thread was up on top.
And that pic of Josh up front brought back some memories - including Loveshack and my 950Adv eyeing each other longingly in the parking lot of the Adventure Motel in Moab.
Subscribed for the rest of this adventure.
WHAT! It was a great interview. Here, everyone. This is what iDave is talking about. It's a great interview and insight into the master storyteller and his wife, iJulie.
It would be a pleasure to meet you. Ride currently in the works OBDR in July
Great vid. Wow! Julie is incredibly beautiful, inside and out. What a laugh.
Dave is one lucky, lucky man!
Dave.... Saw this sign today. Made me laugh out loud in my helmet.
Thanks for sharing your interactions!
Wish I saw this rr start up a month ago!
