Don't know the population there, but have flown gliders out of the airport. I recall the name "Eagle's Nest".
Nice pic! I have been lurking your threads for some time, and you are one of the folks on ADV who I "know" because of your honesty and way with a word and a camera.
I was upset that I missed meeting you last September in Laurel Fork campground. I was there, but didn't know that you were there until I got home and started reading posts about the fun. ahhhhhhh well.

Dave, It's great to see a new post. Your fans have been waiting patiently.
Both of those pics convey solitude, beauty, and peace. I can put myself in them. I am there. Thanks for posting them up.
Where is that? And why is it that I can never time my travel for fall color for the peak of it? And why aren't you writing? (I ask myself the same thing, btw)
for some reason, reminds me of a puzzle, or should be
.......... I'm in Dave.

YES.... and we are asking the same question too.... Your "RR's" are very enjoyable also gypsyrr....
I'm interested, continue...
Enjoy every minute. A wise man once told me to "enjoy every mile" but I think that applies to every minute of the day.
Dave, you never cease to have some of the best words and photos around!
You know I'm in!
Back in 1987, I spent 3 months working in Waynesboro all week, with weekends spent with my fiance back in the Richmond area. I was so looking forward to our future life together, that I missed the beauty that surrounded me.
Wow. As always - thanks.
