Probably did! Would of been a white Vstrom and my buddy was behind me on his blue one. It was a great ride. First time he had ever done anything like that and he fell in love he's been wanting to go back already. Looks like you had a great camping time. That area is perfect for camping.

It really is, especially for motocamping. Fresh water for boiling, cleaning, bathing, etc. Plenty of shade for the warmer days. And the road isn't exactly treacherous when coming in loaded down with gear, even two-up.

Honestly though I sat on one and test rode it. Amazing bike just didn't like the seating position. :dunno

Took the wife on a 60 mile loop to get dinner last Friday night. She loved it! :raabia

Seems this is becoming a habit of mine during the summertime. :dunno
    IMG_1920.JPG

Ended up with a nice high side and a broken collarbone. Thankfully they took the neck brace off and put me in an arm sling.

Other than the broken collarbone I'm in good shape. Gear saved me that's for sure. No rash or anything. Triumph is actually pretty good also. Mainly cosmetic. I even rode it 10 miles down the mountain with a broken collarbone where my friend picked me and the bike up and took me home and my wife took me to the hospital.

Suppose to go to the orthopedic doctor tomorrow and see what he plans on doing about the collarbone.

Sorry to hear of your off. I broke both Collarbones in 2012 ( 4 months apart) I listened to the Dr and decided to do the plate surgery on the first one, partly because it gave me a very high rate of returning to full range of motion but as important , it was to be financially covered by the insurance company of the driver that hit me. The second one was my fault (likely tire wear lost the front going 70 down 181) so my deductibles were already paid for the year, so I plated the second one too.

The procedure is easy and the recovery short. Rehab is easy, nothing like a joint or muscle tissue. Good luck with everything. We are here if you need us.

NATE! So, So sorry to hear this. I definitely hope you recover 100% and suppose you will. Now if it had been my old bones, it might be a different outcome. When you feel like it, please give us some details about what happened and where you were at. That might give the rest of us enough food for thought to prevent another one going down. It looks like your beautiful Triumph took it pretty well too. Well, God Bless! Heal up soon!

I would rank this one as acrobatic flight training with Nate who didn't stick the landing. :lol3

Speedy recovery Nate! I've been very lucky to not have a serious injury since 2006, when I broke my back in Shady Valley. Been increasing my buffer on the street ever since. Get well and back in the saddle soon!
