Who is going? Where are you camping? I am heading down alone this time. It seems all of my buddies have legitimate reasons to back out this year. I usually camp at the Bcubed meet, although I may try the track this year. It seems like a good deal. I am riding down from South Jersey and usually take 13/17 most of the way. I avoid 95 as much as possible! :evil

Colemanfu has stepped up and proposed a great meet and ride on both weekends of bike week. Info here http://www.advrider.com/forums/showpost.php?p=15283670&postcount=103

I will send out the email and cell phone list Sunday night. Make sure you PM me your info.

I plan on camping in the infield this year. Just look for the drunk guy wondering around with a white Uly and his camp.

Hope everyone has a safe trip. Plenty to do. Lot-0-fun! See ya at the tree house for free beer 4-5 everyday.
Remember, if you go up to IH don't park under the deck in the back.

Anybody know what the price of tent camping in the infield at the track is this year? I went to the track website and they just listed RV sites. Seems like it was about $10 a night if you paid for 7 days last year.

Infield camping at Daytona Speedway is free with a daily event ticket. If you arrive after hours, you have to purchase next day ticket. Yes, they have something going on everyday- practice session, qualifying, etc.

I also have a similar thread here: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=649240

If the OP has no objection, maybe we can have a mod merge the threads.

I'm heading down from North Jersey and am going to be camping in the infield. I haven't been to Daytona since 84. I'm planning on hiding in the infield so as to avoid all of the tools downtown. I called DIS and tent camping in the infield is $175 for the whole 10 days, this includes all the daily tickets. Look for the faster tougher ORANGE Uly.

I own a home in Palm Coast. I should be there March 5th through the 13th. It is about 25 miles north of daytona. It has a couple extra bedrooms. I would consider renting out the extra rooms if anybody is interested. PM me.

I think that the 175.00 price for infield camping/tickets is the way to go. Guess I will probably get there on Wednesday and stay until Sunday, so I figure it might cost a little less for me. Still not sure if I will ride all the way or not, depends on weather here at the time I want to leave.

I have stayed at the Bcubed BMW rally at Holiday Campground the last 8 years. Here is a link-http://holidaytravelparkco-op.com/BikeWeek.htm.
20 bucks a day to tent. It is about 20 minutes north of the track.

It looks like Gator retired form the Bcubed group. The website is gone and the Florida Airheads look like they are running the Rally now. Here is the link-http://flairheads.org/
    Same location, etc.

No one cares what you ride at a BMW rally. Many brands represented every year.
