Jeebus- so sorry to hear about Katie- I gotta tell ya, when I read that my heart just went in my throat thinking about this site's own little Katie- and I had a moment of panic there... then it sunk all over when I looked at those pics and read this young lady's empassioned words. Small comfort that she died doing what she obviously loved so much. I lost a long time friend today too... passed after a lengthy battle with Lou Gehrig's- it's been a shit week- that's for sure. Embrace the weekend boys- and ride to the memory of great friends lost way too soon. I'll be riding alone on Sunday and thinking about a guy with a great sense of humor, a ready laugh, and so many friends who loved him. Now I have another to think of who found solace in the same way that I often do- alone on my bike in the middle of nowhere. Curves to Katie and Bill this Sunday! :thumb

That you on Airmont? Thought so, almost turn around, but I just got started. Ended up in Sperryville circled back to Purcellcille for dinner at the Breezeway. To damn nice outside to stop riding.

I had to turn back. My clutch was slipping on the triumph. I am guessing that if I switch back to synthetic, it will fix itself. lets hope.

I still logged 560 miles today.

And that area has to be one of the best riding areas Ive ridden at. :evil
