Im looking for a d.c. triumph dealer that can do valve adjustments. Any dealer will work, but I need the bike by thursday.

I can't even set an appointment with local triumph dealer(fredericktown yamaha) because they are too busy.

Anyone know if cad cycles can do this?

I don't know, most places have longer waiting times than that - you might be better off staying up one night to do it yourself. Valve adjustments are pretty straight foward:)

I belive cyclesport in Alexandria is a triumph dealer, no idea about how long they would take though. Might be worth a call if you don't want to do it yourself.

    good luck

clinton cycles is the worst place to get your bike serviced. No thanks, been there done that. I waited 6 months for a part that was nevered ordered, and they didnt even want to refund me after that. Then there was the 1100$ bill they gave me when I took my bike in, the bike after hitting the shop was "unridable" THANKS CLINTON CYCLES... YOU SUCK:deal

anyway, i want someone who knows what they are doing. Id do it myself, but i dont know what i am doing.

I was hoping to find a small local shop that could do this sort of work. These bike shops charge way too much. :(

Fredericktown did mine and replaced the fuel fiilter for less than $200. The fliter was $40 of it.

Steve at Myers cycle engineering is about as good as they come.
The shop specializes in old Triumphs but will do other bikes as well.
Steve used to write a monthly article in WRMT.

Myers cycle engineering, hmm. Never heard of them, but will give them a try. Thanks!
