Finally made the permanent switch over to Chrome about two weeks ago, and decided to find something similar to the bolty.net tools. These work great! Thanks for putting this online for all of us to use!

Thanks! I use it all the time myself and haven't really felt the urge to change anything, so I'm glad it works for you, too.

I am using Chrome Version 22.0.1229.94 and tool 1.16 and when I click hide from the menu nothing seems to happen. Any suggestions?

According to the browser the page is loaded. It seems inconsistant, I just went back to the thread and the clutter is no longer hidden. I should mention I am using Chrome on a Mac.

EDIT: When I click Hide, Chrome indicates Java Script Void.

    Thanks!

I still use it every day and can't really think of anything else to add to it.

Can't believe I'm just learning about this now! I haven't bothered with RRs in so long because of all the replies! Now I can enjoy the Gem of this site which brought me here in the first place!

Unfortunately, none of the major browsers on the iPad allow for extensions of the sort that make this possible. I'd recommend Tapatalk for a good forum-viewing experience on a phone or tablet.

Great work. Thanks for taking the time to put this together. Great for working through long threads without missing OP. :freaky

Yeah, I second that. I haven't commented on it yet, but I've been enjoying it on Chrome for a little while now. Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback, guys! I'm slowly rewriting it to be a bit more efficient as well as to add a few more little features (like making it easier to see who was quoted when someone's username changed).

Something strange is going on with it on my computer.
At my work computer, where i initially installed it, it works flawlessly. W/chrome & windows 7

the install to chrome at work, carried over to chrome at home on windows Vista.
there it works sometimes. I was reading Noah's rtw RR and it won't let the clutter show/hide buttons work. You can click individual posts to hide and show but not under the thread tools option.
I came back to this thread and tried it, and it worked :huh

Now on my work computer I thought i'd try it again on this thread.. and it won't work? dafuq?

This is because when you jump into the middle of a multi-page thread, the extension doesn't know who the OP is (and so can't classify non-OP posts as "clutter"). Visit page 1 of the thread so that it can learn who the OP is and then go back to the page where you were. The OP is remembered between browsing sessions (in LocalStorage, not a cookie), but if you clear your browsing data, this will be wiped out. Likewise the data is not synchronized across different Chrome browsers using the same Google account (would this be a feature worth looking into?).

The little "OP" label by the poster's name was added after I developed the extension, so it doesn't use it as a cue, but you can bet it sure will in the new version :lol3
