Beautiful day: sunny 72 F. Favorite route Tampa to Jax loaded. Earth, Wind, and Fire grooving on XM.

Lamp light comes on. Plug in nearest parts store to GPS but 1/4 mile later RID shuts down and bike dies. I've seen this before: Link.

Wow, that sucks... Wonder if it's the alternator again? Hope it's fixed and you're back on the road again soon!

    Yeah. I'll try harder...:lol3

Well embarassing good news: loose ground. :clap

The techs were concerned when I said I disagreed with their diagnosis....there's no way I'm that lucky! That's why I didn't check it- too simple so I figured why get hot and bothered when I KNOW I can't fix it. :norton

Thanks Eurocycles Tampa (Aaron, Tony, and Rich) for working me in for my non-breakdown. May you all be as lucky. :deal

Time to work on that mileage issue.....

    Standby Jax. Ich come.

With the exception of the loss of riding time, I would say good news! :clap

This thread makes me disappointed... in myself. :shog

keep up the good riding. Saw some of your other posts. seems as though you've had a few of the noted issues, but you're still riding, so carry on!
