Seems there is an awful lot of nasty bull dust type sand and finer stuff all over the Eastern Seaboard at the Mo , I went for a wander up into the Watagans Yesty and found about 50 % of the distance very loose and bulldusty !

We need some rain FFS ! :pope

Okay, hypothetically, say there was someone too old, too orney and too bloody cantakerous to have, want or need facebook.
How would such a person find out about this rally - or is it restricted to young 'n trendy avocado-smashing hipster wannabes?
And if not, why is it advertised only on the land of the vain and home of the fool?
(Told you I was old, orney and cantakerous!)

    DEADMAN'S GULCH RALLY
    14th and 15th of October 2017

    "ILLAWARRA DUAL SPORT RIDERS"
    TOGETHER WITH
"BATEMANS BAY & SOUTH COAST MOTORBIKE RIDERS"
present the 2nd DEADMAN'S GULCH RALLY.

    # DEADMAN'S GULCH RALLY will be held at "YADBORO FLATS" again on the NSW South Coast alongside the Clyde river.

    # There are 3 ways of getting into Yadboro Flats camping grounds.
For riders heading South on the Princes Hwy you can turn off at Milton. Then through Woodstock where you will have 23km of good to fair forest dirt roads.
For riders heading North on the Princes Hwy you can turn off at Termeil. You will have 30km of good to fair forest dirt roads.
For those heading down on the Kings Hwy you can take the Western Distributor rd via the Kings Hwy at Currowan where you will have 40km of good to fair forest dirt roads.
All these routes into Yadboro flats are on google maps.

    # Being a back to basics rally you will need to bring all food and water.
Firewood will be a collect on the day in and around the campsite.
There are 2 fixed toilets and due to it's location there is no cell phone service at the campsite.

    # "Smaller" badges will be available at the event through Darren or myself at the cost of $15

    # So bring a beer, bring ya mates for a great relaxing time at this great location !

If you have any questions contact Darren on 0413 782408
    or Brett on 0477 425838.

Because its a facebook group that's organising it and I guess they don't feel the need to put it up on every forum in the land. I just linked it to let people know about it. I don't think people like Bazza and Ferel would appreciate being called a hipster either:-).

I recall a few years back we did the Cobargo to Nimitabell thing through the Deua National Park - great ride BTW apart from putting a hole in the sump of the X Challenge - but Dave had a bit of a mishap en route to Bermagui where we stayed the night before starting the Deua - On the Distributor no less near a bridge I recall-

Ask him about his " save " coming out of Yadboro with Pugsley in the wet. Now that was an epic bit of work by all accounts. Dave???.
