A few days ago I had big plans to exert myself once again. I was going to spend the whole day in a sand trap until I was fully skilled with in it.

But no..NO! I have been killing myself. My arm is on fire! Pulled muscle I think.

So instead of killing myself I decided to take an easy ride through the area and to my surprise it was very a dual-sport good-time.

Found a bunch of fun to be had real close to home. This looks simple but what you don't see is a bunch of jumps and essentially a small motocross track behind me. No pics of that because I picked my way through it gently.

    In I went..

    and out..

Passed by some guys modeling for Ridged (sp) UTV Boxes. They were taking video and had props for a photo shoot...You can just see the box in the back..Should have chatted with them. Seemed like a friendly group and they were having fun..

Off I went through some back roads picking my direction on a whim.

Several U-Turns later I find some fun..

I press through the brush and am greeted by death...lots of it.. :uhoh

Must have been 10 or so scattered about and in piles. Only explanation I could design was perhaps Coyotes managed to coral these poor bastards and had a good meal.

Got back on the bike and found some life...well, alive for now.

Those guys made me hungry so I stopped at the store, grabbed some groceries and a brand spanking new Mozz brand top box :lol3

    ..and home I went.

Thanks for reading. Hope the images didn't make you :cry or :puke2
    Cheers! Charlie

Maybe they drowned crossing the wash during a flash flood. Naw, I'll go with your coyote theory. :lol3

Is that a skid plate used for a rear rack? Even if it isn't you've given me an idea. I've been trying to com up with a small rack for my XT200. Thanks for posting.

The drowning theory was what my wife first thought but the area I found them in was nearly flat. No way they drowned.

The rear rack is a skid plate! :D I was on the free Parts Good Karma thread and a 1200 GSA 2012 plate was posted by @Chugiak (TY) ...quicker than downing a plate of canned cranberries on Thanksgiving I had the thought to use it as a rear rack. Its perfect really with it's cupped shape and many holes for strapping.

I suspect we'll see something similar for sale soon. :beer

That was the other theory I had. Really the only other conceivable Theory there could be after looking at the scene.

Rolling up on that was strange! I tried to take good photos of it but nothing compares to rolling up on all that carnage in person.
