From Pablo Rodriguez of Honda Argentina:

"Se suspendió la etapa. Paramos a comer algo con @javierpizzolito y @rodrigueshelder"

Roughly translated as "The stage was cancelled so I stopped to get something to eat with Javier Pizzolito and Helder Rodrigues."

Fox Sports showed Rodriguez's and Bonetto's (quads) assistance trucks and the start.
The strange thing was that HRC gave one of Pizzolito's bike to use it as a spare bike/parts for Rodriguez (Honda Argentina).

Stage 2 start delayed due to weather. Again the safety helicopter can't fly and the organizers are hoping it clears out soon. As I understand it, today's weather is slated to be worse than yesterday's so I am not terribly optimistic.

The twitter feed is running but no answers on the lack of timing or mention that the website is down. The Spanish to English translation is cryptic at best too. Hard to follow along.

Very poor service for followers, really a pitty!

From what I ve got, bikes started to reach re-fuelling, still 146 km to go.

In some minutes some very "unofficial" times should start to flow.

    :rofl
Perhaps they inverted the first 10 for the starting order ? This would seem to indicate something like that -

Portugal's Helder Rodrigues was fastest in the second leg of Route 40 Challenge and overall demand in the Motorcycles category. Rally HRC rider completed the 346.51 kilometers 2m.40 4h54m49 and surpassed by Marc Coma, while third place was awarded to the Paulo Goncalves, who finished at 3m04.

Rodrigues performed Ascending work and ensured the victory at the end of the stage after a fight with Coma who also began to attack in the second half of the stage. Further back Goncalves made a neat job and finished third, beating for 24 seconds just to KTM Francisco "Vest" Lopez.

Kurt Caselli, David Casteu and Javier Pizzolito were protagonists in the first kilometers but averaging the day began to give minutes to fall into the classifier. Meanwhile the Chilean Pablo Quintanilla, which opened the way at this stage, made a good performance reaching eighth place overall.

Edit* here is the starting order from today - http://www.desafioruta40.com.ar/tiempos/resultados/LARGADA1.HTM
