Managed to get about 6 days off ,so me and the mrs decided to holiday in Phuket. instead of my wife flying there while i rode the mrs wanted to ride up with me to see all the places i usually visit on the way.
I recently got new tyres i.e the BT023 GT . And i must say it was a world of difference riding the bike. :D

Also some thoughts on the FJR. 2 up and fully laden , freeways , B roads , Twisties , crosswinds and idiot cagers were handled with ease . The givi top box with back rest made a comfortable ride for my wife also.

It took me 2 days to upload my photos to blogspot so i'll post a few teasers here before i break this computer in frustation at the ultra speedy broadband that i've got :baldy

You can view the full write up at my siggy below.

Overall a great ride and Phuket is really booming 7 years after the tsunami.

Cool pics, definitely more than a day trip.
Though on that comfy looking FJR it might have seemed like only a day.
    Thanks.
