Cant wait for the season to kick in.
Was your bike new to you when that pic was taken?
Yes. So fresh so clean. That was the weekend we tried to break my Dads neck riding in sand for the first time at age 60. He still has a scar.
Wish I was there, I'm in cold Edmonton :huh
We've got a storm coming in early next week. Death Valley could be cold and snowy as well.
On man, I hope not, I will cross fingers for you guys.
Ready for some long days riding in Death Valley!
HID vs LED... Get ready to RUMBLE!
On the way.
I hope we don't have snow. As you can see we have enough of that.
We'll know in a couple days about the snow...
Wednesday A chance of rain and snow showers. Snow level rising to 3900 feet in the afternoon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 50.
Wednesday Night Mostly cloudy, with a low around 30.
Thursday Partly sunny, with a high near 52.
Thursday Night Mostly cloudy, with a low around 32.
Friday Partly sunny, with a high near 51.
Friday Night Mostly cloudy, with a low around 32.
Saturday Partly sunny, with a high near 56.
Looks like an epic time!!!
What plans do you have for the LandCruiser? Seems a shame to use it for a shelf.
How did I miss this?... Yeah, I'm getting ready. Sadly I can't make either of the first two, though previous riding commitments are the reason, so that counts for something. But yes, I'm definitely planning on making it to some GLDS rides this year.
Oh, and since I never shared, this was from our trip to Lewiston if you want to watch the slow newbies suffering through their first GLDS ride. Lewiston
I just bought a flawless rust free hood for it. It will be painted and running this Spring. Why are you looking for one?
Hey thanks for the vid---nice morale booster. That was a super weekend up there. Good weather, good routes.
You guys are way cooler than the Ohio thread. Just sayin.

Good to see it will be on the road soon. Back in the early seventies (74?) my buddy had a jeep CJ5 and we had a lot of fun in it. One day going down Ford Road I saw something that looked like a jeep in the lot at the Pontiac dealer at Ford and Wayne. Stopped in to look at it and it was something called a Toyota Landcruiser. Seems it had been owned by American Motors and had been sitting for awhile. Made the deal ($3000) and had a ball with it for years. Sold it for $1300. Still have the factory manual and my old Man-A-Fre catalogs. Still have dreams that I find my old one and restore it. Have fun and be sure to put photos up when you're done. Too many projects for me (2 wheels) to take on a truck.
p.s. One of the mechanics at the BMW dealer on Ford road is reviving one also.
I enjoyed the video, Eric. Thanks for sharing it. Look forward to seeing you and Jack at some of the rides this year.
Braden, it's a great bunch of people here, and you fit right in.
C'mon spring !
