Power Bands are over rated. What you really need is a thigh master.:evil

Of course you can start a thigh master with a dead battery. Those power bands need a battery to start.:rofl

That's a wide power band. Looks real snappy!

All this 990 talk makes me want one. Anyone want to trade for my Beagle, a pack of gum, and some pocket lint?

Big red. The Beagle was picked up from the doggie junk yard a few years ago, so mileage is unknown. He hates anything with two wheels, hates guns, and refuses to lay on hard surfaces. Must have been a woman in his past life. :lol3

Idlewild is coming up quick, any trail reports?

Wow, looks like I'll have to borrow Matts (Trumposaurusrex) ninja turtle floaties so I don't sink. Matt, you got a spare set or did you pop your superman ones?

Other than the twitchy low throttle I need to rip off that ugly low fender.
    :rofl

PS: I gave up trying to find one even quasi-local and shipped it over from San Diego. The $600 in shipping was made up for the fact I was able to get it a lot cheaper than the ones you see around.

Save that ugly low fender for me, Jason. I'll want a spare on hand.

It may not be too late though.:lol3

    Jeramey,

How is the Idlewild ride looking for next weekend?

Rode Rose City area on Saturday and there was lots of snow, or what was snow and now is ice in the trails.

    Scott,
How bad was the snow/ice at Rose City? I think a couple of us are planning on riding Ambrose Lake on Friday. I figured most of the snow would be gone by now.

We ended riding the power lines and they were completely clear, however we rode the Ambrose trail going north to Mio and I would decribe it as 25% coverage of ice, but ridable. Many of the single wide truck trails were 40% covered in ice. Pretty much anything where there are pine trees or the north or east facing hills have ice

Due to the gyrations at Husky, being sold, etc. Husky is offering some fantastic deals on 2013 bikes. For example TE-449 MSRP of $8,559 on sale for $6,099. TE-511 MSRP of $8,999 on sale for $6,499. These bikes have the BMW Kymco Motor with the CTS Suspension (Countershaft gear is on the front pivot of the swing arm)

See below write up on the TE-449.

    http://www.mcnews.com/mcn/model_eval/2011MayHusTE449.pdf

Not all dealers will honor this program but some are advertising these prices.

Wish I had room for one more bike and some spare $$.

Last chance to get a Husky before it gets some orange DNA!
