I have a DID 525 ZVMX chain I need to rivet. Master clip is ZJ clip with a slight hollow point at the tip.

Does any one have the rivet tool I can borrow or rent?

The mini keg is the whole reason I didn't quite make it up the stairs! I learn from my mistakes though and next time I'm going up the stairs with more speed.... to compensate for the extra weight.

I am cleaning out the closet. Does anybody want the following:

Troy Lee Designs pants. Adult 32. Orange/blue. Matching jersey. These were given to me by Chris Filmore. He is smaller than me.

    Fox pants. Youth 12-14. Blue/black.

Thor pants. Size 32 youth. Red/black.

Fox chest protector. Red/black. Looks like it would fit a kid about 8-10 years old.

    Hallman USA adult chest protector.

Clymer manual for early KLR 650.

This stuff is free. So you can pick it up at my house in troy. Pm me if interested and I will give you directions.

    Alpine star boots.

I am looking at some new Alpinestar boots. Does anyone have any suggestions? I like the Tech 10 and Tech 7's but thay are $350 plus. I found a pair of Tech 3's but they don't have a steel toe clip. Neither do the Tech 10's which are their most fancy and expensive models. Any ideas?

I wore my Tech 8's for three years and I never had a complaint. Real quality beefy boots. I would still be wearing them if I didn't just buy a pair of Sidi Crossfires. The Sidis are lighter and have the hinged ankle that I've found I prefer. Riding boots are awfully expensive though. I bought both the Sidis and the Alpinestars used.

Had I read this before I left I would've called you up. Went for a 70 mile wander from Livonia out north and west a bit. No real goal, just an easy ride wherever looked like a proper path. Nothing over 50.

I like the Tech 8's myself. I use them for offroad. I have some Astar Vectors which they no longer make. I use those for ADV /Touring type riding.

I usually buy mine on closeout deals. I did recently buy a very nice pair of used Tech 8's on here though.

Sounds fun. I ended up aimlessly riding around in the thumb for 220 miles mostly dirt roads by myself. Not the most fun but at least I was on two wheels.

My old Alpinestars are Tech 8's. They must have quit making them. I decided to go with the Tech 3's. They were $229 compared to $539 for the Tech 10's. If I was going to pay that kind of money I would probably get the Sidi's which are waterproof. None of the Alpinestars are.
