waitin on some dirtster parts, so I can get that thing goin.

I picked up this 44 chief recently, & today Im trying to get the charging system ironed out, & do a little tuning on it.
I'll probably just swap it over to 12 volts & put a cycle electrics generator on it, would save me some headaches I think

pretty bike, but more chrome than I would prefer.

a 3 seater would be nice if I was single, then I could double date easier!
(my old sidecar outfit was handy for that)

But, since Im not, the first thing I did was put a solo seat on it.

Doug, I just checked the latest pages in this thread (after a long time) and saw the Ducati. If you need any oddball parts, let me know. I still have several boxes of various parts from my old Monster and a 92 900SS/Superlight that I got as a basket case way back. That includes small stuff up to a good crankcase, fresh rebuilt crank for 92-93 models, etc.

Nahhh, didn't want to head to Dania. I had a boatload of chores to do around here while the weather is perfect. I actually got a good bit of it done.

If you ever find the need to do clutch work or head work on the Duc while you have it, PM me. I've made up a couple of special tools that I hung on to after selling both Ducs. Just in case :evil .

I went on safari today, hackin my way thru the jungle lookin for a diamond in the rough.....

those TV guys make it look so easy!

'turn off the paved road' was in the directions. 3 MILES off the paved road...... (the radio started playing banjo music)

You might be a redneck if......
the phrase 'time to re-roof the house' means buying another 20.00 tarp at walmart

The best thing I found was this 47 BSA 500 flat tracker. motor turns over, I was amazed! I'm looking forward to turning gasoline into noise with this!

I ended up with 6 bikes & a truck full of HD parts. the only cool keeper was the BSA tho.

he's notional on selling stuff. he needed some $ to buy another bike he found, so he sold me some stuff. other times, Im not able to buy anything.

most of this stuff had been sitting for years, and wasnt worth hauling off. But, you gotta dig, you never know what you will find buried :evil

I can't be certain but the carb on the BSA might be worth your effort, all by itself.

It's a shame that Z1R is just sitting there.

    Nice score on the BSA!
