Dave's had a huge pile, but again, most of it was shot from sitting outside. I was one of the first to dig when the estate came up for sale, and some of the buildings were still locked up (the executor cut em open for me)
I spent a day looking thru buildings, vans, buses, fields, and even the house that was farther up the holler. The bikes were covered in snow, so Im sure I missed some stuff, but I got a pretty good load of parts, and the guys there were selling it to me by the pound. I was lovin that :D

EMPI headlight covers. were popular on v-dubs too. don't know if there were other manufacturers and i don't know if the v-dub covers fit domestic. probably id they are the same diameter. you can still get them new.

Too cool Doug. Wire milk crate, wire bicycle basket, and it appears like a leather purse in the bicycle basket. Truly a man ahead of his time. I love the old pics. I'm old enough to know how cool you were back then, but hey, you still are.

I dunno where all I went on this one. I did go thru 3-4 motors on this bike tho. I have a map somewhere with different routes outlined by which bike I was traveling on. After this bike, I got a Guzzi 850T, then I really started going places.

I still have the bike & the vest, the rest of the ensemble got worn out & tossed aside :lol3

actually, I do have a pair of pink shades, with a real light tint, & rhinestones at the corners. They are almost clear, & make great nite time glasses. I save em for special occasions tho, like bike week.

You'd be amazed at the looks I get riding a knucklehead chopper down main street with pink glasses on.

Truly dig the vibe... know the era for sure. I started riding then too.

But I lived in the mountains. Denim full jackets - and leather as soon as I could afford it.
