I bought 4 and mounted them on my HB crash bars with SS Adell clamps but got tired of using zip-lock baggies to hold the contents so I had a Tactical Nylon guy I know make me some of these
    [IMG]

Initially I just asked for plain old coyote brown because that's what's in style these days in Iraq so he has tons of the fabric, but then after he made those for me we both thought why not clear?

The four bags hold all this with room for more
    [IMG]

The guy that makes these does custom, one off, Tactical Nylon stuff for the military and others. He said he will make more for the inmates for $15 each in all the basic mil colors including multi-cam and red, yellow, clear or whatever you would like. I said he does custom stuff and meant it.
If you would like some of these just say you want a tool tube bag.

Those are awesome. Seems like a great resource with pretty good pricing. Did anyone ever find a source for the tubes in Canada?

I think you have to phone since the site won't let you choose any other country than USA.

    Hey Motoriley, :D

I've ordered a few of them in the past years..:D I just ordered another one last week and with the exchange and postage it was $31.00 CND. Still a deal for what you get.. Just give them a call they have a 1-800 number.

    hope that helps,
    Rick

I should probably order a few since I'm sure the shipping won't change much.

I bought one awhile back and service was great. As has been said before - if this were made for motorcycles it would be $50+. They're just about perfectly designed for storage and mounting. Still haven't gotten around to installing it, though.

    QUESTION:

What did you use to get the yellow paint off of yours. I tried acetone nail polish remover and had almost no luck.

    Thanks.

If you are going to use Acetone you will need to soak a spot on a rag with it and let it set on the paint for a while as it evaporates quickly if you just try to wipe it off. Nail polish remover may not be as strong as the industrial Acetone. Or use a lot of elbow grease. :deal

I used an entire bottle of my girlfriend's (sshhhhh...) nail polish remover (I *think* it said 100% acetone) and scrubbed the living #$#^ out of it. Something in the equation was definitely wrong because it would have taken me two weeks to get all of the paint off.

Gun Scrubber is another option for getting off the yellow paint without damaging plastic.

Has anyone here ordered the tube liners in other colors and if so - got pics?

The clear is cool...I'm just curious what the other colors look like :D

Oh and YES I of course bought the Agra-supply tool tube, like 6 of them and I've yet to attach 1 cause I have no way of easily getting the crap out of the bags :D

Yep, a quick spray of Carb cleaner left over from the '61 caddy and the paint came off in two quick wipes.

I order a few of these about 2 months ago and I just noticed that there is a small hole in each directly under the upper mounting bracket........... anyone else have holes in theirs'?

I am going to just put some silicone over it but still ----- what is the point of the rubber gasket top if the thing has a hole in it?
