I could be up for that so long as we start early before the 4-wheelers. If you need a place to stay let me know.

IMO, not worth it. 8 hours of driving to ride 30 miles of trails. Drive to ride sucks.

If you guys are in that area, give Dave colaw a call, he can show you some of the best trails in the area, as long as your bike is dual sported(or not). I had a blast riding with him. Xsquiggy can get in contact with him on madrider.com.

You know I would go. But I don't feel like driving 8 hours, to ride 2 hours. That place is really good for people on bicycls, mostly flat and unchallenging. They dont call it a atv trail system for nothing. :lol3

Be sure to take plenty of pics from peddlers gap. Ill do the same from tower city.

I think you would like riding Greenridge in MD, and savage water state park. Its the same kind of shtick. :lol3

Here is the :deal I have plotted a route and scouted 2/3rds of it out...previously rode the rest of the route. It is a mix of 45% back country roads/45% gravel and 10% hardcore dirt/rock garden. Estimate about 170-180 miles total. Should take about 5-6 hours. The route starts at my place. You interested in riding this on Saturday? I will be on my DR400 because of the rock garden section (Peters Mill). It is a very scenic route over several mountain ranges and along rivers.

I am feeling crappy. Fevery, achy, and coughing. No big adventure ride for me. If I feel tip top Friday evening, I'll phone you again to see what your plans are.

I do want to do the route you scouted, ASAP.

    Sorry to waffle...

peters mill? Is that the trail across the street at taskers gap? That should be easily done on the vstrom, I did it on my r1.

Keith, why dont you come down to laurel with the drz and ride around the trails here. The pits are huge!

Laurel Maryland. You can take your gs there. I have seen pickup trucks, hummers riding around on the trails. The big open areas are fun even on big bikes, I took my tiger there.

I think we might meet there around 8am on sunday.

Not sure if I am going out this weekend. Besides, rotorcup hasn't healed from the last trip to Peddler's.
