If that is your scoot then what is there to wish for?

Like the fatter front tire. Looks very SM.

This is what I have on my wr250x. Gets a lot of looks & at the first break, I hear, now I know why you started w/ the super motor front rim.

most likely your rear rim is 6" wide.. so no, those 150 are to small for that rim!
I had the same intention for my TL1000 and the closest I find in 190/50-17 with aggressive look was the Dunlop 616

It'll fit, but you'd be lucky to go 500 miles in the dry on a rain tire :lol3

Gotta love this R1. This setup inspired the mudders on my FZR.

As for my tires, the weedy little 4" rear rim on my bike means I've got a bit more leeway when it comes to fitiment. I'm running a 5.10-18, but I dunno what's out there in larger sizes. Any chance you could downsize your rear rim a bit?

What bike are you planning to convert, anyway?

BTW, that KLR of yours is a monster. I've been drooling over that thing since I first saw it in one of the pic threads a while back.

You could always make your own knobbies if you can't find off roadish tires that fit your wheels.

+1 I use the same tool to cut lugs into the tires on my 950SM. It can make any shape of tread you want. I love it.

    Look good....keep on :clap

What tires are you going for? Usual you can find offroadtyre witch are more wide than moto-x. I´m guite sure you can go for 150 on that R1, but if you are going for moto-x you have to downsize the rim as Eldo 500 proposed.

I´ve use on my CBR600 offroadtyre Cheng shin, rear 5,10-17(about 130/100) and in front a reartyre 4,60-17(117/100)

Today I put my moto-x tyres(moto-x because the tires are studded for roaduse and oddroadtyres are not enough)

Chen Shin again. Short Endurstudded 4,60 front(a reartyre) and rallystudded 5,30 rear.
