Wow, I had just ordered a replacement OEM for my KTM 640 Enduro and fortunately saw this in time to cancel the order. :clap

I may end up getting a set for my F800 also, as they get knocked around pretty good, too.

    Great job, Ned!!

Wow, these are exactly what i've been looking for. And right here in my home town no less! Now I just need to break the crappy ones to justify it to the wife. Anyone have experience putting these on the handlebars of a 640 Adv as opposed to mounting to the existing holes? I broke my mount off on the brake resivoir and am not sure how long the JB Weld will keep it in place. :D

Yes, I have used the u-bolt on my 530. No problem if you have the room. Nice and solid too.

Got mine in the mail today and mounted 'em the 950. These look like they will take a severe beating and make it all the way home. Great quality on the optics too. Slightly convex, just enough to give a little more peripheral vision.

    Good stuff! :thumb

    ned,
what an unreal amazing product you developed! that thing is rock solid yet moves anyway i need it in a second. i went with ram ball, 2" ram arm (because i have some mirror vibration isolators from klr days http://www.klr650.com/MrVibIso.htm ) and mirror. expensive setup ($50) but worth it. i only need 1 mirror. i'm amazing how heavy the mirror is and how good of a lens it is. zero vibrations.

Would be great if yopu folks could make something like this for us BMW types so we wouldn't need to use the RAM offset piece. These are dampeners but it would seem possible to make a 10mm 1.5 to 10mm 1.25 thread adapter.

I would also like to know if there is an adapter for BMW mirror
    mounts!

Does anybody have these on a r1200gs? Which arm do you have,
the 2" or 3"? I want to go with the 2", but am unsure how it will work.

    Input please- :ear

    Working on it!

One issue I've had is that I'm not clear on what thread is needed for every different model. I haven't found any reliable info online, so I've been measuring every bike I can.

F-twins and new R12s seem to all be 10mmx1.5 pitch, if the sample I've seen is to be believed.

But many older models actually have the mirror bolt through the lever, so they are a real mixed bag of what thread/ length/ etc would be required.

Anyway, 10mm x 1.5 adapters are in the works, probably at least a month out though. Not sure how to approach others.

hb7, there is to be no crapping in this vendor's thread. You want to promote your mirrors, do it in your thread, not here.. Your posts have been punted to the H.E. forum.. This is your only warning. Next time...:ban
