I want to drill out the cats on my 05.5 950A. My question is what size hole bit bit do I need, how long of a bit extention, and can this be done with a quality hand drill or does it require a drill press. Also, how long does this process take from start to finish.

    Thanks

Once you pull the mufflers off, you can just poke it with a sharp stick or a long chisle and it will all come out.

But, get a good filtered mask and goggles. That stuff is nasty heavy metal and dusty.

I tryed drilling them out, hammer them out ect... But I gave up and cut them open instead.

You are going to get many small metal chumps in your exhaust, they can get out but it takes time while you shake the can.

Chop saw & weld looks like the best option. Thanks.

Lose those heavy damned cans and buy an aftermarket set instead
