It was a 2007 GSXR 1000 - met a car head on :eek1:eek1 Car was going the wrong way on a one way raod and we met on a blind corner ....................

Bike was less than a week old, about 70 miles on the clock :cry:cry:cry

I ended up with a badly broken arm and wrist but all pretty well sorted now :clap:clap:clap:clap

I guess it could honestly be said that you were "reborn"!!!

That bike is totalled! And if you ask me, you were extremely lucky, going away with "only" a badly broken arm and wrist!

    Damn!! :eek1 :eek1 :eek1

Dropped my FJR after hitting a deer at 55MPH in Northern Michigan last fall. I got 3 weeks off from work but not hurt too badly... Bike totaled.

Nothing too bad. I was able to climb that small hill with my Battlewings. Then I laid a piece of wet plywood over the very start of the hill and I dumped the Tiger on its left side for the first time. Wet plywood does NOT have much grip. Lesson learned.

I usually don't have the forethought to take a pic at that moment with the rider looking over his steed like, what did you do that for? Especially when I'm the one looking down at my bike but heres one from a ride in colorado. The KTM on the ground has a badly torn coolant line and is about to piss out all the coolant out around 20 or 30 miles from anything...... gotta love duct tape and zip ties! We all got dehydrated bc we emptied what was left of the water to fill the bike but made it home.

Here's the spot on the "trail" where it happened. right after this spot there was a few foot drop off and the ktm slid up against a rock.... that was a hard day.

My son, learning that too much throttle could be a bad thing. He was completely unhurt, but did manage to moan a good bit.
