    A few years ago on my old Caponord I stopped to take break down near the Mexican border and walked away from the bike to take a photo only to hear the dreaded >crunch< behind me.

    Moto-Sport Panniers, which they do not make anymore. Too bad, they were great. I've actually managed to more or less fix them. I don't swear to them being watertight anymore, but they're secure.
