I have a recently purchased 1974 DT 360 enduro. I took the oil pump cover off to bleed the pump and verify adjustment. The oil feed line was leaking because it was smashed against the case where it connects to the oil pump. I tried to turn the nipple to relieve the pressure and broke it.. I thought OK someone has put the wrong pump on. Ordered a used one from a 1974 DT 360 and the nipple on it also pinches the feed line on the case. It looks like the nipple should be rotated so it doesn't pinch the case. Is this a common problem. Thinking about dremeling the inside of the case to clearance it. Any ideas? Also, anybody have pinging probs on pump gas. Switched to 100LL avgas and its better. Is this normal on these bikes?
