    Hello all,
This is very last minute notice, but I wanted to put the feelers out. I have a dual sport trip planned for Ellijay, GA this weekend. It is a pre-planned 280 mile loop starting and ending in Ellijay over the course of 2.5 days. We begin riding at 9am this Friday morning and finish Sunday afternoon. We will motocamp in state parks each night. The majority of the route is fire and forest service roads. I've ridden this twice and I can guarantee you it is a helluva good time.
So far we have 3 confirmed advriders including myself.
The route will start in Ellijay, continue north to the green marker in Tennesse, head back south on Saturday and ride the orange route, camp in Unicoi state park on day 2 and head back to Ellijay on day 3.

    Friday:
    1 late rider
    1 bear sighting
    2 bee stings
    4 punctured tubes (same bike)
multitudes of screaming babies at Unicoi

    Saturday:
    1 road closure
2 items fell off tail packs, both on a busy, winding stretch of road-race practice track
    2 bee stings
    1 near miss with cliff
    1 near miss with car
    1 trashed campsite

    Sunday:
1 ear piercing screech owl at dark-thirty AM
1 LC4 sight glass seeping oil

All said it was a fantastic adventure, and everyone had a great time. No injuries other than from the yellow jackets, and all of our bikes made back to base camp in one piece.

    Just getting started
