    Makes me wonder.... how well do we expect it to perform on dirt? I mean, it has a bashplate after all! Must be better than a Multistrada which weighs 100lbs more. :muutt

    Yes it might be blasphemy but I expect this new Ducati to perform well in the dirt and if it doesn't I will tie it up and beat it into submission in till it does!

    I really really really like the looks of this bike. Perfect commuter and light tourer. I think the price is alright seeing as how it comes with a lot of standard goodies. I think my biggest concern would be the cost of a valve check.

    Even with the valve service at every 18000 miles that would still be nearly a once a year service for me.

    Anyone have a rough guess at the cost of that service?
